When I think of the winter season I begin to think of ways to stay warm. Many times fashion has taken a back seat to warmth and comfort. But being seasonally ready should include being seasonally stylish. Here are a few items you should consider to spice up your winter wardrobe.
Fur (Faux will definitely work as well)- This fall there is a new spin on this staple. Designers have added bold colors and patterns to create an additional “wow” factor.
Over the knee boot– This trend returned last fall but is still hanging around. This style is not only great for keeping warm but for adding a kick to your causal style.
Bold color trench-Trench coats are great in the Autumn month. I recommend every lady keep one on hand. But when you go out looking for this fashion classic, look for bold colors like yellow, purple or blue.
Pattern tights-This trend has only expanded over the years. With the introduction of new colors, textures and design shapes, there’s no limit to how your dress your legs.
Leather skirt– This is another fall classic. I’ve been waiting for the cool weather just to pack these. Since this staple has moved passed basic black, into rich colors, there are so many closet combinations you can put together with one simple item.
Long sleeve gloves– I love this fall accessory. It’s such a creative way to stay warm and stylish. I think that a colorful long sleeve glove adds an unexpected twist to a traditional fall item.
